To accommodate students, staff, and faculty, all classes and services held at the center are being relocated to alternative campuses or hosted online. The Courtyard Center (CYC) provides a professional development and business training environment. Whether you’re interested in starting a business or a consultation with the Collin Small Business Development Center or learning about the vast array of non-credit courses in Continuing Education and Workforce Development, CYC is your destination to a great future.


English as a Second Language (ESL) courses improve fluency and proficiency for English-language learning and communication skills in the workplace. Classes are offered during the daytime, evening, and weekend at multiple Collin campuses.

Human Resources careers are in demand in Collin County.  Taught by HR professionals, our Human Resources Certificate Series provides instruction across all Human Resources functions. 

Experienced HR professionals can advance their careers with the SHRM Certification Exam Prep.

Certificate series develop expertise in Automotive Service and Repair, Construction Project Management, Data Science, Digital Marketing, Project Management, Professional Truck Driving, Web Design and Development , Graphic Design, Photography , Accounting Clerk, Nonprofit, and more. 

Apprenticeships offer structured occupational training that combines on-the-job training with related instruction.
